Not much to say today

Well, the good news after seeing my pulmonologist on Friday is that I get to start
tapering my prednisone right away, in 5 mg a week increments. Hopefully this
means that by late this year, I will have my normal face back (and some weight
loss too).

Wednesday, September 19th

My puppy, Ben, is four months old today. He is the cutest thing ever! I have to figure out how to post a photo of him. I do wish he wouldn't chew on things and destroy them, though. Argh!

Yesterday I signed up to be a flu shot clinic nurse; I'll begin working on October 1st, and work 10-26 hours a week for seven weeks. I hope I can manage that; I'm feeling fairly good, but so very, very tired all the time still. On Friday I see my specialist, and I hope that I will soon get a CT scan and see if the granulomas in my lungs are gone, and if my lymph nodes have shrunk. Let's hope for the best.

I'll get better at this blogging thing. This is a boring post!
