Second review for essential oils

Still working out this blogging and the reviews. Needed to post two separate reviews for the oils. So here is the second one. Of the two oils I prefer the lavender and I do plan to use it to help me with relaxation. The peppermint oil doesn't smell how I expected. I may try diluting it. I did receive both oils for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Second review for #NewYorkBiology essential oils

Review Sunday! was contacted by New York Biology and given the choice of several essential oils to try for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I chose peppermint for it's energizing properties. This item came with a lid and the dropper was separate. The dropper is glass, which speaks to the quality of this product, which is 100% pure peppermint oil from India. The dropper was wrapped in bubble wrap, which I was glad to see. This oil is intense. One drop is all you would need for most reasons, I think. Or you might want to dilute it. Of the two, I prefer the lavender and will be using it to try and help me relax. #NewYorkBiology

Okay, second review coming up!

I did receive this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review. And honestly I really like this piece! It's not huge, as you can see in my photo below, but I probably will use it for overflow makeup storage. It features a good sized drawer and then ten open storage areas on top. The open areas vary in size. Both the bottom of the top section and the front of the drawer have a pebbled or hammered appearance. I like this as it makes the piece feel sturdier, but it's still easy to see what you have in the unit. The drawer does pull out all the way.

Here's the item on Amazon:  Acrylic storage unit

And here are my own photos.

Hey, my first product review on my blog!

I hope to do lots of these; I really enjoy the process of finding items (at either a reduced cost or free), receiving them in the mail, then using them and reviewing them.

My first two reviews are both makeup storage units. Both can be found on Amazon.com.

Cubie storage

I like this piece a lot, and can actually fit almost all of my makeup products (other than palettes and powders) into it. I like how the top section fits securely into the bottom unit. My only criticism is that I received two units, and both showed some damage. The company were fantastic, sending me e-mails, having me repurchase the item, then refunding my money for the second one, as well as refunding my money for the first one that I bought at a discount. The problem appears to be the corners of the drawers, which can crack. I don't know if this is a manufacturing issue or a shipping issue. It's a shame, because if it weren't for this problem I would give this item 5 stars, no problem.

So what I will say is this: if you are looking for a way to store a significant amount of makeup, go ahead and purchase this. Just know that you need to be a bit careful when you push the drawers in, to be sure they don't hit the base unit hard. If you have any issues, contact the sellers; I truly believe they will take care of you. #cubie
